The Solution

We developed an app for Walsall Alliance Ltd that provides all the tools and information required by COPD nurses at the point of care. The App has been neatly designed in six sections namely Instructions, Protocols, Inhalers, Forms, Calculators and Further Information. It contains comprehensive tools and information in esily navigable format for different COPD related scenarios and symptoms. The App also contains various relevant forms that can be printed on the need to need basis.

The Result

The App has been launched on both Google Play and App Store and has been very well received by the nurses on the ground. We have received tremendous feedback from the client. The App’s UI and sleek graphics have been praised everywhere. In the future, as the more data becomes available on the cost reductions of COPD patient care, we will share it here.

“Centricweb provided an excellent service, exceeding our expectations, they were able to be responsive and supportive. I would not hesitate in commissioning them for future projects”

Clinical Haematology App

2018-08-24T23:33:57+00:00

The Brief

The app was required by our client, the Clinical Haematology dept at Heartlands NHS Trust in Birmingham. The proposal was to kick start with the first phase of an app that will facilitate the referrals to Haematology, Heartlands Hospital from doctors of other disciplines. The purpose of the App during this phase was narrowed to reduce the number of wrong referrals to Clinical Haematology ward.

Centric has developed such apps for other disciplines e.g. OMFS Handbook for Oxford University Hospitals Trust and Ophthalmology Handbook for Heartlands Trust. After initial adoption and feedback from the users, the app is conceived to evolve with additional protocols, induction guides and any other material as required by the client in further phases.

The Solution

The app was designed and developed from the ground up as a Hybrid app using Ionic platform. Firstly a neat and easy to use UI was finalised for it. Centric also designed the logo for the app. The app was developed with user friendly interface and eye catching graphics. Currently the data resides on the app and thus it is available offline too. The App contains about 8 protocols in the first phase.

The Result

The app has been extremely well received by clinicians in the Haematology ward of the Trust and the work is underway on a newer version with additional protocols and a CMS system based backend.

The requirement was to create a smartphone app both for iOS and Android platforms, that breakdown the most common OMFS (Oral Maxillofacial Surgery) situations encountered by junior doctors to guide them on the course of action, thus saving them time and reducing the risk of error in referral procedure.

“Highly recommended. Superb personal service. Centricweb worked on 3 projects for us. Initially, we needed a brand logo & website, they were able to create an identity for our Healthcare services company established in 2012. We were extremely impressed with the professionalism, quality and personal service.

Following the success of this venture, we worked on a much bigger App development project. Centricweb worked with us step by step to create an innovative, creative cost-effective App that has now had overwhelming positive reception in large healthcare facilities in UK
